VERMILLION — The University of South Dakota men’s basketball team beat Loyola Marymount (Calif.) 82-70 on Wednesday night at the DakotaDome.

VERMILLION — The University of South Dakota men’s basketball team beat Loyola Marymount (Calif.) 82-70 on Wednesday night at the DakotaDome.

The Coyotes (6-7) were led by junior guard Louie Krogman with 21 points. Krogman, a White River native, had 16 points in the second half.

Jake Thomas had 18 points and freshman Steve Tecker tied a career high with 15 points.

USD hosts Midland University (Neb.) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
