Wolters had a game-high 25 points for the Jackrabbits, who are 8-3.

USD women fall to Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team fell to Colorado State 68-53 in a nonconference game Monday afternoon.

Junior forward Amber Hegge had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead the Coyotes, who had their three-game winning streak snapped and are now 8-6.

Utah State knocks off SDSU women

LOGAN, Utah — Jennie Sunnarborg scored 23 points to lead the South Dakota State University women’s basketball team, which lost to Utah State 60-57 on Monday.

Mitchell native Jill Young had six points on 2-of-12 shooting and Salem native Kristin Rotert finished with four points for the Jackrabbits, who are 4-8 and are at Southern Utah on Dec. 29.
