Man arrested for DUI after accident
OACOMA — An Oacoma man was arrested last weekend for driving under the influence after rolling his vehicle on Interstate 90 near Oacoma.
OACOMA — An Oacoma man was arrested last weekend for driving under the influence after rolling his vehicle on Interstate 90 near Oacoma.
Noah Steinfeld, 28, was taken into custody for DUI and failure to stay in his lane, said Michael Dale, state Highway Patrol trooper.
Steinfeld was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup west on I-90 when he veered off to the right side of the highway.
The pickup slid sideways, then rolled about three times into the north ditch at 1:09 a.m. Saturday, a mile east of the Oacoma interchange, Dale said.
Steinfeld, who wore a seat belt, declined treatment for a scrape on his back, Dale said.
Steinfeld was taken to Brule County Jail in Chamberlain, Dale said.
Chamberlain police, Lyman County sheriff ’s office and Missouri Valley Ambulance personnel also responded.
