SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Republican Dusty Johnson has been elected to a second term on the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission.
He currently chairs the three-member PUC, which regulates investor-owned electric, natural gas and telephone utilities in the state.
Johnson defeated Doyle Karpen of Jefferson in Tuesday's election. Karpen has held several local elected offices, but it was his first run for statewide office.
