Loaded handgun found in bag at Sioux Falls airport

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A loaded handgun found in a passenger's bag created some tense moments at the Sioux Falls airport.

The Transportation Security Administration confirmed the gun and told KELO-TV that officials closed the security checkpoint for about 20 minutes Monday morning.

The TSA confiscated the gun and eventually cleared the passenger for a later flight.
