Carol Kay Morgan, 66, Mitchell, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mitchell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church with a 7 p.m. prayer service. There will be a 5:30 p.m. rosary today at the church.

She was born on June 30, 1944, in Wessington Springs to Harry and Wilma (Spies) Stange.

She attended school at Lane, graduating in 1962.

On June 26, 1965, she married William Morgan at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wessington Springs.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, four sons: Mike and wife Tammy; Pat and wife Karla; Wes and wife Teri; and Scott and wife Stacy, all of Mitchell; four daughters: Ronda Koepsell and husband Heath, Canova; Robin Moody and husband Toby, Woonsocket; Raven Ellwein and husband Jay, Huron; and Randi Haines and husband Wyatt, Omaha, Neb.; 21 grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters: Joyce Bowar and husband Bill, Lincoln, Neb.; Ducky Stange and wife Jan; Bob Stange and wife Kay; Phyllis Swenson and husband Edward, all of Woonsocket; Bill Stange and wife Nancy; and Lois Edwards, both of Letcher; Judy McQueen and husband Dick, White Lake; three sisters-in-law: Anne Stange, Freeman; Margaret Zoss and husband Chuck;, Yankton; and Erma Janssen, De Smet; and a brother-in-law, George Morgan and wife Sherri, Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, her parents, her in-laws: William and Madeline Morgan; a brother, John Stange; and two brothers-in-law: Merle Edwards and John Janssen.
