Teener White sweeps Brandon

The Mitchell teener White baseball team swept a doubleheader against Brandon Tuesday at home. White picked up a 12-0 game one win and then won 8-5 in the second game. Tyler Larson was the winning pitcher in the first game. He pitched all four innings, allowing one hit and no runs Offensively for Mitchell, Dylanger Pierson was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a double, Ben Miller went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Larson had an RBI single. In the second game, Jacob Rice picked up the win in relief. Kyle Fraser started. Miller was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, Pierson was 3-for-4 with three RBIs, Matt Larson had two hits and Rice had a hit and an RBI. White (30-7) plays at the state tournament starting Friday in Sioux Falls.
