Gold, White teener teams sweep S.F. teams
SIOUX FALLS — The Mitchell teener Gold baseball team swept a doubleheader against Sioux Falls Central Saturday in Sioux Falls. Mitchell took the first game 16-3 and the second game 10-7. Lakin Neugebauer threw four innings and picked up the win in the first game. He allowed four hits, one run, three walks and he struck out three. Calvin Limberg was 4-for-4 with four RBIs, Jacob Haiar was 2-for-3 and Alex Bennett and Kirby Fuerst had two RBIs.By: Sports staff, The Daily Republic

Calvin Limberg was 4-for-4 with four RBIs, Jacob Haiar was 2-for-3 and Alex Bennett and Kirby Fuerst had two RBIs.
In the second game, Limberg was the winning pitcher in relief. He threw 2.2 innings, allowing one run on one hit. He walked two.
Zach Moen got the save. He pitched the final inning and struck out all three batters he faced.
Limberg was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Michael Sadler was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Moen had two RBIs.
Mitchell (20-26) plays Tuesday against Pierre at Drake Feild.
Mitchell White picks up two wins over S.F. East
SIOUX FALLS — The Mitchell teener White baseball team swept a doubleheader against Sioux Falls East Saturday.
Mitchell won the first game 6-1 and took the second game 6-3.
Jacob Rice threw five innings and allowed one run on four hits in the first game.
Matt Larson threw the last inning for White.
Offensively, Larson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Ben Miller was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Joe Morgan went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Miller picked up the win and threw five innings in game two. He gave up three runs on six hits. Larson picked up the save.
Tyler Larson went 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
White (28-7) plays at noon Tuesday against Brandon Valley.
