The Mitchell Black teener baseball team split a doubleheader with Yankton Thursday night at Drake Field.
Yankton won the first game 11-6, but Mitchell came back to win the second game 9-4.
The first game was scoreless until the sixth inning when Yankton scored 10 runs. Mitchell scored two runs in the sixth and had the bases loaded to end the game.
Luke Bartl, Tyson Allen and Aaron Sudbeck doubled for Mitchell.
Allen and Bartl pitched for Mitchell.
In the second game, Neil Schlimgen had two hits, including a double, and Preston Skinner had two singles. Karst Way had a two-RBI single to help secure the win.
Aaron Sudbeck was the winning pitcher, allowing five hits and striking out four in the complete-game effort.
