Young, Bork win at Brookings Invite

BROOKINGS — Two members of the Mitchell Aquatic Club picked up wins at the Brookings Summer Invite over the weekend.
Reva Bork won the girls’ 15-18 1,500-meter freestyle in 20:13.53 and Katrina Young won the 200 butterfly in the same division.
In the girls’ 11-12 division, Karlie Brown took fourth in the 400 freestyle (5:38.35), 100 butterfly (1:26.39) and 50 backstroke (41.12) and fifth in the 50 breaststroke (45.61).
Wylie Fuerst took third in the boys’ 11-12 100 backstroke (1:41.9) and Donald Stehly was fourth in the boys’ 13-14 200 breaststroke (3:27.65). Cailey Scott took second in the girls’ 9-10 100 backstroke (1:35.74) and fourth in the 50 freestyle (37.90). In the boys’ 15-18 division, Isaac Smith was fourth in the 200 breaststroke (3:02.63) and fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:22.09) and 100 backstroke (1:12.81).
Zachary Smith was second in the boys’ 11-12 50 backstroke (40.46), fourth in the 100 freestyle (1:12.11) and fifth in the 50 freestyle (33.26) and 100 breaststroke (1:36.54).
Jady Stehly was fifth in the girls’ 15-18 200 freestyle (2:33.45) and 200 backstroke (3:02.99) and Young also took fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:20.71) and fifth in the 50 freestyle (30.97).
