Couple marry in January wedding
Rachel Nelson and Luke Vander Ley were married on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Dalton, Minn., with the Rev. Tim Wyrick officiating.Parents of the couple are Willard and Barbara Nelson, Dalton; and Larry and Bonnie Vander Ley, New Holland.

Maid of honor was Bethany Haugen. Bridesmaids were Karla Quam, Rondi Hamilton and Amber Vander Ley. Flower girl was Sarah Nelson.
Best man was Brian Vander Ley. Groomsmen were Kerry Vander Ley, Josh Lefers, and Kyle Monteith. Ringbearer was Joshua Nelson.
Ushers were Tim and Seth Vander Ley, Dave Jurica and Greg Hartman.
A reception was held at the church.
Rachel is attending school through Montana State University, Billings, Mont.
Luke is a 2009 graduate of South Dakota State University, with a degree in wildlife and fisheries. He is working construction with Loken Construction, Anchorage, Alaska.
The couple will live in Anchorage.
