Xtreme Cheer to host summer camps

The Xtreme Cheer program will hold cheer camps July 12-16 for anyone interested.

Dance, cheer, tumbling and stunting will be taught. For more information or to register, go to xtremecheerleading.net. All cheer camps will perform at the chili cook-off at 1 p.m. July 18.

Xtreme Cheer will host its stunt camp July 26-27. A national-titled team from Omaha, Neb., is bringing its top coaches to Mitchell for the camp.

More than 70 athletes have already registered and more teams are expected to register.

The Xtreme Elite team will host a mini clinic and routine debut at the Freedom Stage at noon Aug. 28 at the Corn Palace Festival.

Xtreme Cheer will also put on a free clinic in Chamberlain Aug. 14 at the River Kids Fest at Cedar Shores Resort.
