LUBBOCK, Texas — The Mount Marty baseball team was defeated by Lubbock Christian 23-5 in the NAIA regional championship Friday in Lubbock, Texas.

Lubbock Christian, the defending national champion, advances to the NAIA college world series in Lewisto, Idaho.

Mount Marty was defeated by Lubbock Christian on the first day of the tournament before fighting back to beat it 3-2 Thursday.
