Space is still available for the Dakota Wesleyan TeamMaker golf outing Friday at Wild Oak Golf Course.
The outing is an 18-hole, three-person best-ball tournament with prizes for winners, pin prizes and other games. The Wild Oak “Progressive Hole in One” also starts that day, so any golfer that makes a hole in one receives $1,000. DWU will host its own $500 hole in one challenge, and interested golfers can sign up for an additional $10.
Registration for the tournament is at 11 a.m. and lunch is available for purchase. Pairings and instructions will be announced at 12:30 p.m. and a 1 p.m. shotgun start is scheduled.
There will be a 6 p.m. social with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
The cost of the tournament is $60 per golfer which covers greens fees, cart and dinner. The field is limited to 30 teams. Individuals will be placed on a team. Non-golfers can eat for $10 per person. The TeamMakers will also be selling mulligans for $5 to be used anywhere on the course.
To register, contact DWU athletics business manager Marlene Warnke at 995-2112 or mawarnke@dwu.edu.
