Havlik, Larson to wrestle for titles

RAPID CITY -- The Mitchell High School wrestling team will have two wrestlers competing for state titles in tonight's finals at the Class A state meet in Rapid City.

RAPID CITY -- The Mitchell High School wrestling team will have two wrestlers competing for state titles in tonight's finals at the Class A state meet in Rapid City.

Sophomore Brent Havlik pinned his Rapid City Central opponent in 5:16 to advance to the finals and senior heavyweight Kyle Larson won a 5-2 decision over a Sioux Falls Lincoln opponent in the semifinals.

Justin Greenway (152) and Jordan Reiner (171) both lost their semifinal matches. Greenway lost a 13-4 major decision and Reiner dropped a 6-4 decision to Vermillion's Chris Mart.

Greenway won a 2-1 decision in the wrestlebacks and will wrestle for third but Reiner, who won the 171-pound title last season, lost a 5-4 decision to Pierre's Terrance Maier and will wrestle for fifth.
