The city of Mitchell announced four entertainment acts this morning for the 2010 Corn Palace Festival.

Country legend Kenny Rogers will perform Wednesday, Aug. 25; magician Jason Latimer and comedian Dick Hardwick will perform Thursday, Aug. 26; contemporary country star Gary Allan will perform Friday, Aug. 27; and ABBA parody group Bjorn Again will perform Saturday, Aug. 28.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, Feb. 13.

Rogers is a country music singer-songwriter, photographer, record producer, actor and entrepreneur. He has charted more than 70 hit singles across various music genres and has topped the country and pop album charts for more than 420 individual weeks in the United States alone.

Allan debuted on the country music scene in 1993 with the release of his hit single "Her Man," the lead-off to his gold-certified debut album "Used Heart for Sale." Since his debut, Allan has released eight gold and platinum certified albums and a string of hit singles including "Right Where I Need To Be," "Nothin' On But the Radio," "Best I Ever Had," "Watching Airplanes," and most recently "Today."

Bjorn Again is light-hearted in its approach to portraying ABBA. While keeping somewhat faithful to the songs, the rest of the performance is delivered in the style of a send-up or parody. The cast talk among themselves and to the audience in faux-Swedish "Swenglish" accents, and have been given stage names that playfully and humorously resemble the names of the original band members.

Dick Hardwick prides himself on being funny without ever having to use "one four-letter word." Jason Latimer is billed as the "world champion of magic."
