Matt McGee, of Mitchell, bowled a 300 Thursday at the Village Bowl.

The perfect game is McGee’s seventh of his bowling career, and all seven have been bowled at Village Bowl.

“It felt pretty good,” McGee said. “We broke up after doubles the first round into singles and that’s what happened.”

While McGee was bowling his perfect game, two lanes down from him was Marty Barington, who bowled a 299.

“The lanes were wide open the second shift,” McGee said. “It was pretty fun when you have two guys with 11 strikes throwing the last ball.”
