DWU sweeps Mount Marty

YANKTON — Ashley Kley had 13 kills and Carina Fesenmaier had 30 assists Wednesday as Dakota Wesleyan cruised to a 25-23, 25-22, 25-16 sweep of Mount Marty in Yankton.

Sarah Stahlke added eight kills and Jayna Morrill had six for the Tigers, who had only seven hitting errors and hit .268 as a team, led by Stahlke, who hit .533 and didn’t have an error in the match.

Amye Brown had 15 digs to lead the Tigers while Kley and Nikki Gleich had 11 apiece. Morrill added a team high four blocks, including the team’s only two solo blocks.

Kate Carda had nine kilsl to lead Mouint Marty while Krista Hohn and Maggie Goree had eight apiece. Jen Jerdee had 31 assists and Carly Benson had 13 digs.
