Interstate 90 westbound ramps at Mount Vernon to close

The westbound Interstate 90, Exit 319, on and off ramps at Mount Vernon will close on Tuesday, according to a news release from the state Department of Transportation.
Westbound I-90 traffic wanting to get to Mount Vernon can take Exit 325 and go north on Betts Road and then west on 254th Ave (Old Hwy 16) to Mount Vernon. The westbound ramps closure at Exit 319 is expected to last into early October.
During this closure, the existing concrete in the westbound lanes of I-90 will be removed and replaced with new concrete.
The prime contractor is Upper Plains Contracting, Incorporated of Aberdeen.
