To the Editor:
I am writing in response to S.V. Nelson’s letter of July 25, regarding Gov. Sarah Palin.
I strongly object of Nelson’s use of the word gentlewoman when referring to Palin. This “decent American woman” is responsible for the barbaric aerial killing of wolves in Alaska. You used the word insidious as well, which describes the murderous actions against wildlife that Palin pushed for while in office. Thank goodness she bailed out as Alaska’s governor so that maybe the new administration can be reasoned with in an effort to stop the brutal killing of these beautiful animals. I wonder what her real reasons for bailing out were.
God help us if she should bamboozle people into voting her into elected office again somewhere in this country. Palin’s record of her actions while in office regarding wildlife as well as oil exploration in Alaska must be considered if this woman should ever decide to run for political office again.
