Students must earn a GPA of at least 3.7 on a 4.0 scale and carry a minimum of 12 semester credits.

William P. Flynn, Mitchell, has been named to the spring 2009 Dean’s List at Capitol University, Columbus, Ohio.
DeVries earns NSU scholarship
Sean DeVries, Mitchell, has been awarded a $4,000 Wolf PACT Scholarship from Northern State University, Aberdeen.
DeVries is the son of Kevin and Michelle DeVries, Mitchell.
Wipf on Dean’s List at U. of Mary
Mallory Wipf, Wessington Springs, has been named to the 2009 spring Dean’s List at the University of Mary, Bismarck, N.D.
Matthews on spring list at AIIM
Mary C. Matthews, Mitchell, has been named to the 2009 spring semester Dean’s List at the Arts Institute International Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn.
Students must be enrolled and complete 12 or more credits and earn a GPA of 37 to 3.9 on a 4.0 scale to be named to the Dean’s List
Patrick awarded SDSU scholarship
Shea Patrick, Mitchell, has been awarded a Yellow and Blue Scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year at South Dakota State University, Brookings.
He is the son of Mike and Jean Patrick, Mitchell and a 2009 graduate of Mitchell High School.
Petersen noted on Winona list
Christina Petersen, Parkston, has been named to the spring 2009 semester Dean’s List at Winona State University, Winona, Minn.
To be named to the Dean’s List a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (or at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
Nelson on SDSM spring honor list
Colin Nelson, Mitchell, has been named to the Academic Recognition list at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City, for the spring 2009 semester.
To qualify for this list part-time undergraduate students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester, not have any “F” or incomplete grades and have completed at least 12 credit hours prior to the current semester.
Kaemingk doing research at DOT
Brian Kaemingk, Mitchell, is participating in a research project as a civil engineering intern for the South Dakota Department of Transportation.
Kaemingk is a senior engineering physics/mathematics major at Augustana College, Sioux Falls. His advisor is Dr. Eric Wells, assistant professor of physics.
