Special Olympics picnic set Sunday
The Mitchell Area Special Olympics annual picnic will start at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, at the Hitchcock Park picnic shelter south of the softball diamonds.
The Mitchell Area Special Olympics annual picnic will start at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, at the Hitchcock Park picnic shelter south of the softball diamonds.
Parents are asked to bring a salad and bars. All other items will be provided. Athletes, potential athletes, families and volunteers are invited to attend. Athletes will be able to sign up for 2009-2010 Special Olympics activities, and the first softball and T-ball practices will be held after the picnic.
