Summit League returns to Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Sioux Falls will host the Summit League Basketball Tournament for another two years.

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Sioux Falls will host the Summit League Basketball Tournament for another two years.

The league announced Tuesday that the men’s and women’s championships will return to the Sioux Falls Arena in 2011 and 2012.

Sioux Falls hosted the tournament for the first time this year and set records for attendance and ticket sales. The 2010 tournament returns to the city under a two-year agreement.

The winners of the Summit League tournament receive automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.
