Howard Williams, Chamberlain

Howard E. Williams, 78, Chamberlain, died Feb. 28, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Plattsmouth, Neb.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery, Chamberlain.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hickey-Wevik Funeral Chapel, Chamberlain.

Howard E. Williams, 78, Chamberlain, died Feb. 28, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Plattsmouth, Neb.

He was born on Aug. 29, 1930, in Chamberlain to Morgan and Julia (Glumsaus) Williams.

He graduated from high school, entered the U.S. Army and served from 1951 until 1954 during the Korean War.

After his discharge, he worked as a delivery driver for various companies until his retirement.

He is survived by his children: Linda Shepherd and husband, Lanny, Pierre; Scott, Sioux Falls; Russell and wife Elizabeth; Tarrel and wife Marti; and Kally Williams, all of Omaha, Neb.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
