Wisconsin woman pleads not guilty to drug charges
A Wisconsin woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to several drug charges in Mitchell.
Sara Hauser, 31, entered her plea during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.
She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, which carries a maximum of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
She is also charged with possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, which are misdemeanors.
Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a jury trial in February. He also agreed to allow Hauser to sign a waiver of extradition so she can go back to Wisconsin until her trial.
