White Lake store suffers break-in
WHITE LAKE -- A White Lake store was broken into during the early morning hours Wednesday, but authorities believe little was taken.
The glass front door and front window at Ehler's General Store were broken during the overnight hours.
After breaking and entering, the suspects damaged a glass cooler door inside the store and left afterward, according to Deputy Roman Briggs of the Aurora County Sheriff's Department.
"At this time we don't have any solid suspects," Briggs said. "We've had a few crimes like this in the past where they would make entry into the building and nothing was taken."
Briggs has been asking other store owners to view footage on their cameras facing out onto the street to get an idea of who was in town and what was going in town that morning. The store owner is unaware of whether anything was stolen, because there is not a precise inventory.
"Maybe a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade and maybe a pack of cigarettes," Briggs said.
