Wheat Growers welcomes Scotland native as agronomy sales manager
ABERDEEN --- Wheat Growers has hired Mike Fillaus as the agronomy sales manager for the cooperative's southern trade area. He will also initially manage the Stickney, Kimball and Chamberlain agronomy sales teams.
"Mike will use his strengths in sales to enhance relationships and develop additional agronomy business for Wheat Growers in the trade area," said Steve Briggs, Wheat Growers senior vice president of agronomy and corporate marketing. "We're looking forward to the positive impact Mike will have for Wheat Growers."
Fillaus comes to Wheat Growers from another ag retailer in South Dakota. He is a native of Scotland, S.D., growing up on a small dairy and grain farm. He has an animal science degree from South Dakota State University, with an emphasis on production and business.
"One of the core values that the cooperative lives by is to provide superior service to our customers," Fillaus said. "I'm looking forward to working with Wheat Growers patrons in the southern trade area to deliver that level of service."
