HURON -- Registration is open for the Andy's Road Race, which is Aug. 31 during the South Dakota State Fair.

The race is divided various age groups running the 5K and 10K races, and there is a 5K fun walk and 5- and 23-mile bike rides for participants of any age and fitness level. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each division of the 5K and 10K races.

SDSU adds Deadwood, Pipestone, Minn., stations

BROOKINGS (AP) — South Dakota State University games are jumping onto a couple more stations.

The Brookings school says two new affiliates have joined Jackrabbit Sports Network — KDSJ-AM in Deadwood and KJOE-FM in Pipestone, Minn. Both will carry all Jackrabbit football games, select basketball broadcasts, weekly coaches' shows and the Jackrabbit Daily Sports Update.

Yankton-based WNAX-AM will continue to serve as the flagship of the nine-station network.

Other affiliates include KBFS-AM in Belle Fourche; KJJQ-AM in Brookings; KORN-AM in Mitchell; KOLY-AM in Mobridge; KGFX-AM in Pierre; and KSDR-AM in Watertown.
