DWU men’s golf team adds two
Kreutzfeldt has competed for the Kernel varsity squad for one season and competed in the Class AA state tournament.
Also joining the DWU men’s program next season is Ben McNiven, of British Columbia, Canada. McNiven has played on the British Columbia junior and amateur circuits.
The Tigers kick off their spring schedule at the TigBro Cup March 22 in Hastings, Neb.

Marlin girls fall to Huron All StarsBy The Daily RepublicHope Goethel recorded a hat trick to help the Huron All Stars beat the Mitchell Marlins girls’ varsity team 6-3 Tuesday at the Mitchell Activities Center.Goethel scored a goal in the opening period, another in the second period and two more in the third period to help the All Stars take a 5-0 lead.The Marlins got on the board in the middle of the third period with a score from Michelle Wyatt, which was assisted by Bailey Hohn. Kaihlen Smith and Kylie Barrington each added goals in the third for the Marlins, who took 24 shots.Mitchell goalie Tiadra Simmermon recorded 30 saves. Mitchell ends its season regular season 1-20.
