USF looking for corporate partner
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The University of Sioux Falls, a private school in South Dakota's largest city, is looking for a corporate partner.
President Mark Benedetto told the Argus Leader the company's logo would be on the school's stationery, on a marquee and on the athletic stadium.
He says the relationship also would include professional services, and a corporate partner's employees could use USF facilities such as its gym and weight training center and get sports tickets as if they were students.
Benedetto says such a partnership is rare in higher education.
He says institutions that are going to thrive in challenging economic conditions have to be thinking outside the box.
