Use of pistol brings assault charge
WHITE LAKE — A White Lake man is accused of threatening two women with a pistol.
Zane Wiggers, 27, is charged with aggravated assault, which carries a maximum penalty upon conviction of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
Wiggers was allegedly arguing with his girlfriend and her sister Friday when his girlfriend picked up a bat. According to court documents, the girlfriend threatened Wiggers with the bat, threatened to cut his dog’s throat and threw kitchen utensils at Wiggers.
Documents state Wiggers retrieved a pistol to defend himself.
