USD dorm students to spend another night in hotels
VERMILLION (AP) -- Nearly 500 University of South Dakota students are being offered hotels for another night after a water pipe break forced an evacuation of their dorm.
USD spokeswoman Tena Haraldson says crews cleaned up the water in Coyote Village, but the broken pipe was over an electrical room and crews are trying to get the necessary parts to restore power.
