Two dead after one-vehicle rolls over near Wagner
WAGNER — Two people died in a one-vehicle crash on a gravel road a couple miles northwest of Wagner Sunday. Names of the victims are being withheld until relatives have been notified. A 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac was southbound on the gravel road around 11 a.m. The driver lost control and the vehicle, entered the west ditch and rolled.
The female driver was wearing a seatbelt. She was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. He was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information is immediately available. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
