Wilber signs six for next season
Bon Homme senior Scott Van Winkle, of Tyndall, is the lone area recruit. Van Winkle averaged 17.1 points, 5.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds through mid-February of his senior season. He’s earned all-conference honors and set the school record for points in a game with 41. Van Winkle’s brother, Jared, is a defensive back for the Tiger football team.
Joining Van Winkle are Austin Bicknase, of Harrisburg; Cole Casper, of Lake Preston; Mitch Heumiller, of Mobridge; Kevin Petersen, of Brandon; and Ben Robinson of Sioux City, Iowa.
Weather causes canceled events

Several Dakota Wesleyan University athletic events have been canceled this week due to the weather.
The Tiger baseball team’s home doubleheader scheduled for today against Mayville State is canceled.
The DWU track and field team was scheduled to compete at the Vance Butler Invited Saturday in Sioux Falls but the meet is canceled due to a poor weather forecast. Instead, the Tigers will compete at the Dordt Invite Saturday in Sioux Center, Iowa.
