DWU women’s golf takes 12th

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team finished 12th at the Missouri Western Invite Monday
The event began Sunday but not all teams finished their first rounds until Monday morning due to snow. The first round was completed Monday morning and the second round was canceled because of the weather.
The Tigers shot a 360 in their first tournament of the spring season, finishing three strokes out of 10th. The University of Sioux Falls also competed in the event, taking 14th with a 372. Arkansas Tech recorded a 311 to win the tournament
Two Tigers finished in the top 25 as Tiera Feller tied for 19th with an 84 and Lauren Fitts tied for 24th with an 85.
DWU will compete against April 6-7 in Nebraska City, Neb.
