Trial set for Letcher man who fled police at 150 mph
March trial set for man accused of aggravated eluding
A Letcher man accused of aggravated eluding is set to stand trial in March.
Bruce Pueppke, 61, was arrested in October after he drove at speeds reaching 150 mph on Interstate 90 while law enforcement chased him. After he left the interstate, Pueppke continued to elude law enforcement by speeding. Law enforcement eventually found him hiding in tall grass among farm implements on a farm just north of Mitchell.
According to court documents, during a motions hearing Jan. 24, Judge Pat Smith scheduled the case for jury trial in March.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge, and several other misdemeanor charges, in November at the Hanson County Courthouse.
