The Alexandria native made seven of the team's 10 3-pointers.

"She shot it real well. She had some good looks and the shot selection was real good," DWU coach Jason Christensen said.

The Tigers shot 50 percent from the field and made 18 of its 22 free throws en route to earning their 17th win of the season.

"Overall I was pleased with our focus," Christensen said. "We shot the ball real well, we had four kids in double figures and we forced some turnovers."Aside from Hart, three other DWU women scored in doube-figures.

Kim Johnson finished with 22 points, while Brittany Hills had 17 and Katie Johnson added 13.

With the victory the Tigers surpassed their win total, 16, from last season.

"When you take a job, every game and every year you want to improve," Christensen said. "The most important thing to me is to show that we are improving ... if it wasn't for the kids we wouldn't be where we are today."

Dakota Wesleyan plays next against Morningside 4 p.m. Wednesday in Sioux City, Iowa.
