Swenson offered Tripp-Delmont job
The Tripp-Delmont School District has selected a Sioux Falls teacher to be its next superintendent.
Gail Swenson, a teacher at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School, has been offered the job.
She will replace Lynn Vlasman, who is leaving for the same job in the Lyman School District.
The contract has been sent to Swenson for finalization.
The district's school board met twice in June to review candidates before interviewing finalists and offering the job to Swenson.
Swenson has previously served as the president of the teacher's union in Sioux Falls and as Indian education coordinator for the district.
