Spearfish residents unfazed by Hells Angels
SPEARFISH (AP) -- More than 400 Hells Angels are in Spearfish this week, but residents say they're not bothered by the presence of the infamous motorcycle club.
The Angels are holding their USA Run in Spearfish. It's an annual business meeting. Spearfish Police Lt. Curt Jacobs says there's an increased law enforcement presence, but it appears many of the riders are acting like regular tourists.
Leland Ruzicka owns the Back Porch bar in Spearfish, which is drawing a lot of Angels. Ruzicka says they're customers like anyone else, and they provide a boost to his business.
Mayor Jerry Krambeck says the city is already used to motorcyclists. Spearfish is close to Sturgis, which is the site of an annual motorcycle rally that draws thousands of bikers.
