Sioux Falls district to seek help in superintendent search
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Public school officials in Sioux Falls are seeking help from state and national organizations as they begin the search for a new superintendent.
The Argus Leader reports school board members have already contacted the Associated School Boards of South Dakota and plan to reach out to the National School Board Association.
Superintendent Pam Homan announced last week that she will retire at the end of this school year when her current five-year contract expires. She has worked at the Sioux Falls School District for 25 years and has served as superintendent for more than a decade.
The board has not set up a timeline for the search process.
