Sioux Falls day care provider pleads guilty in child death
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — A former Sioux Falls day care provider has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor child neglect in the case of an infant who died in her home.
Four-month-old Meredith Ulmer died on June 30, 2011. Authorities say 53-year-old provider Constance Edwards had taken nine children to a water park that day and left 15 others including Ulmer in the care of two teenage girls.
