RAPID CITY (AP) — A 52-year-old Pine Ridge man has been fined $2,200 and sentenced to three years of probation for shooting a pregnant cow.
The Rapid City Journal reports that George Ecoffey and another man were hunting turkeys when they shot the cow last year on a ranch near Manderson last year. Authorities say the men took some meat from the cow.
