SD governor seeks Medicaid expansion waiver
PIERRE (AP) — South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard says he is once again asking federal officials to let the state expand the Medicaid program in a way that would provide medical services only to those most in need.
The federal health care overhaul gives states the option of expanding Medicaid up to 138 percent of the poverty level.
