SD governor says he probably will seek re-election
PIERRE (AP) — South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard says he probably will seek re-election next year.
Appearing on the Dakota News Network's call-in radio show, Daugaard says he probably won't make a final decision on seeking re-election until later this year. But he says his plans right now are to seek a second term.
Daugaard was a state senator for six years and lieutenant governor for eight years before being elected governor in 2010.
