SD gov schedules summit on pheasant habitat in Huron
PIERRE (AP) — South Dakota's governor is inviting people who are impacted by pheasant hunting in the state to talk about its future.
Gov. Dennis Daugaard says he'll host a Pheasant Habitat Summit on Dec. 6 in Huron to discuss bird habitat and hunting.
The summit will provide a forum for landowners, sportsmen, people who work in the tourism industry and others to learn about the current state of pheasant habitat and how it can be expanded.
