Robert (Bob) Wayne Rayman was born March 10th, 1955 to James and Donna (Kuhns) Rayman in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended St. Marys Catholic School in Salem and graduated from Salem High School. On September 8th, 1979 he married Sue Heiberger in Salem and they resided on the family farm for most of their married life. Bob passed away at his home on January 17, 2014 having reached the age of 58 years.

He farmed much of his life and worked many years at Feterl Manufacturing and the City of Salem. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and enjoyed participating in the local Athletic Boosters Club. Crowbar, as so many of his friends called him, enjoyed many sports including softball, bowling, hunting, and golfing. He loved to go West River deer hunting yearly with his close friends and enjoyed coyote and pheasant hunting whenever he could. Bob shared his love of golf with his children and rarely missed a Sunday with his golfing buddies. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, and especially his four grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife Sue of Salem; one son, Mitch (Jamie) and their children Liam and Landon of Salem, SD; one daughter, Mindy (Ben) Dold and their children Sophie and Spencer of Sioux Falls, SD; 10 brothers and sisters; Colleen (Danny) Hoyle, Franklinton, NC; Mary (Joe Gasper) Rayman, Salem, SD; Ellen (Bob) Bartscher, Blue Earth, MN; Jim (Teresa) Rayman, Youngsville, NC; Pat (Jim) McConnell, Colorado Springs, CO; Daryl Rayman, Youngsville, NC; David (Gloria) Rayman, Salem, SD; Kevin Rayman, Gregory, SD; Keith (Julie) Rayman, Tracy, MN; and Robin (Ron Schneider) Rayman, Salem, SD; two aunts; Joan Eickman of Salem, SD and Janet Ziebarth of St. James, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Donna Rayman, his father-in-law Gene Heiberger, and his nephew Forrest Rayman.

Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 21 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Salem. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 pm 5 pm with a rosary by the Christian Mothers at 3 pm at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will resume with family present from 6 8 pm and a prayer service at 7 pm at St. Marys Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the PSA/Salem Pool Fund, PO Box 100, Salem, SD 57058 or donations may be dropped off at First Dakota National Bank in Salem. www.kinzleyfh.com
