Armour - Robert "Bob" Raymond Ellsworth, 98, died at Golden Living Center in Armour on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Funeral service will be Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM with a wake service at 7:00 PM. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour.Robert "Bob" Raymond Ellsworth was born on May 15, 1915 to Roy and Flora (Watson) Ellsworth in Meadow, SD. He attended country school in Meadow. He married Gwendolyn Becker on October 27, 1938 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church
in Glad Valley, SD. They farmed near Glad Valley until moving to Idaho briefly, then to Armour in 1950. Bob worked as a farmer, maintenance worker at Farragut Naval Base in Idaho, on Fort Randall Damn, Carlon Oil, Cargill Elevator, delivered milk for Roberts Dairy, custodian at the school until his retirement, then worked part time at the nursing home in Armour. Bob had a deep faith and unconditional love for his wife of 71 years and for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and had a great love and appreciation of his friends and caretakers. His sweet nature and wit touched anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Gwendolyn died on November 17, 2009. Bob was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed listening to music on the radio and baseball. He died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Armour at the age of 98.

Forbes both of Hillsboro, OR, sister-in-law, Dale Ellsworth of Walnut Creek, CA, 25 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren,
and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gwen, daughter, Karin, brother, Clarence, sister, Eva Grooms, son-in-law, LaVerne Rabenberg, brothers-in-law, Bob Becker, Jack Forbes, and Roy Grooms.
