Reza Corn Palace concert rescheduled

Email

Reza and the Spill Canvas will no longer perform together at the Corn Palace on Sept. 28.

Reza, a magician and illusionist originally from Brookings, and The Spill Canvas, an alternative acoustic band from Sioux Falls, were scheduled to perform jointly on Sept. 28 at the Corn Palace.

Corn Palace Director Mark Schilling said scheduling conflicts led to postponing the concert and changing its format.

Schilling said the Corn Palace hopes to reschedule Reza for a Sunday afternoon show in February.

"We're going to be looking at this as more of a family illusionist/magician show, rather than marketing this as kind of a college show," Schilling said. No definite plans are in place to reschedule The Spill Canvas, Schilling said.

"We'll look at it as it comes at another point," he said.

Anyone who purchased tickets will get a full refund, Schilling said. Corn Palace employees will be contacting ticket holders, or, people can call the Corn Palace box office at 995-8430.

Schilling said tickets for the rescheduled show will likely go on sale in November or December.
