PIERRE (AP) — Design options on a new Missouri River bridge in Pierre and Fort Pierre will be released Tuesday.
Representatives with both cities and the South Dakota Department of Transportation plan to hold a public open house to tell area residents about the conceptual improvement options. Read more about those options online.
Projects to be discussed include a new bridge over the Missouri River for highways 14, 83 and 34; Deadwood Street in Fort Pierre; Sioux Avenue in Pierre; and Dakota Avenue in Pierre.
The purpose of the 5:30 p.m. Tuesday meeting at the Ramkota Inn is to gather input on design and environmental issues.
