Power restored to Chamberlain, Kimball, Pukwana area
Electric Power has been restored to Central Electric Cooperative members served by the Hilltop Substation, which serves an area north of Chamberlain.
As of 11:30 a.m., power had been restored to all of Central Electric’s members. No cause has yet been determined for this morning’s interruption in electric service.
Central Electric Cooperative is a member-owned Touchstone Energy Cooperative. The cooperative serves about 4,700 members in eight counties with offices in Mitchell, Plankinton, Kimball, Wessington Springs and Howard.
